Welcome to Elizabeth's Kitchen. I am Elizabeth Podsiadlo and I am the Opera Singing Chef of San Diego CA.
Besides teaching cooking for parties and other events, I also teach at the Quail Botanical Gardens in Encinitas. Another event I have is Oasis In Macy's.
I have been singing opera for many years and only about five years ago was I able to find a teacher that could show me and teach me that real opera sound! I know showcase my voice at an opera soiree in Pacific Beach.
Recently I have went to see the movie Julia, Julie. I thought it had a clever plot.
I loved how Meryl Streep played Julia Child. I thought after seeing this movie that since I am a Chef maybe I should start a blog!
As some of you might know, I have written a book called Talking Pictures. It is about a woman named Barbara who gets a birthday present from her Mom. Within the first chapter the mom passes away leaving Barbara a bx of family recipes. Meanwhile The book is intertwined with many delicious recipes that will make your mouth water!
It has been printed and are being sold.My new book is called The Last Aria. It has the same characters from the first book. I have almost completed submitting the recipes to my editor.
